There are a plethora of hockey blogs available on various social media channels right now. All of which is good for the game. My issue with many of these blog posts is that they have moved far away from pure journalism and are simply viewpoints.
This Hockey Life is going to aim to do two things: provide a platform for the game in its many iterations, from grass roots, summer, beer and BBQ hockey, through to the top international competitions; and to do so following the ABC of good journalism – by reporting accurately, with balance and concisely.
Get involved:
- The world of hockey is a large one, covering five continents and more than 140 nations, so please do get in touch and share your stories with me.
- Do engage in the debate. My reporting might be neutral but I still love hearing your thoughts and opinions.
